Teenagers are in the process of negotiating one of life’s most intense transitions and often experience turmoil in their inner lives and in the outer world.
They often don’t have the skills or knowledge to deal with the all the changes in their bodies, emotions, perceptions and relationships. They often distance themselves from their parents or challenge rules in an effort to better define themselves.
Parents are included in the therapy and given feedback on their child as appropriate, depending on the needs of the client.
